Jeanne ("Jeannie") L. Couture
Jeannie L. Couture, CPA, JD, brings a rare combination of financial acumen and compassionate legal insight to her clients across Texas. A native of Southeast Texas, Jeannie graduated Magna Cum Laude from South Texas College of Law Houston, where she received the Garland Walker Best Advocate Award in 2012.
Before entering private practice, Jeannie worked as a Certified Public Accountant in public accounting and industry across Dallas, Houston, and Amarillo. Her experience as both an accountant and an expert witness in marital property and business litigation provides her clients with a multidimensional perspective—balancing legal strategy with a deep understanding of finance and family dynamics.
Today, Jeannie leads The Couture Law Firm, where she focuses on Family Law, Estate Planning, Probate, Guadardianship, and Mediation. She also brings her background as a Collaborative Divorce-trained attorney, offering clients solutions that protect relationships, minimize conflict, and promote long-term stability.
